Stand out be authentic

Fit in, be normal, don’t stand out….. Why? What are we afraid of? Are we afraid of our true self and all the potential that comes with that?

Authenticity is a word I hear all the time lately, Got me thinking about the pressures I sometimes feel to “be normal”.

When I get a home ready for sale, I focus on what makes it unique and I work hard to have it stand out. Why wouldn’t we see that value in ourselves?

I have had my fair share of not fitting the typical mold. I know that others have been there too. I have learned (that at least for me) “being authentic” is not being afraid of what we are capable of. I believe that the core of me is good, compassionate and honest. Why not share that?
